I’ll Pay Headteachers N100,000 Monthly – Borno PDP Guber Candidate | Tellwell Newspaper
Reports revealing the pathetic remuneration of primary school teachers in Borno State has begun to generate promises of jumbo salaries and better conditions of service for the teachers from opposition politicians vying for elective offices in the state in the 2023 elections.
One of such politicians, Tellwell Newspaper reports, the state’s gubernatorial candidate on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform, Mohammed Ali Jajari, has promised to pay all primary schools headteachers ₦100,000 as Monthly salary.
His spokesman, Amos Adziba, said in a statement that Jajari also promises to implement the national minimum wage with immediate as soon as he takes over power, if elected.
In addition, Adziba said, a Jajari administration will reinstate all teachers disengaged from service for no tangible reason.
