Dariye Wants Lalong To Complete His Administration’s Projects | Tellwell Newspaper
Tellwell Newspaper, Abuja – Nigeria:

From Giwa Alex, Jos
Erstwhile Governor of Plateau State, Joshua Dariye, has appealed to the incumbent Governor Simon Lalong to complete the projects he initiated when he was the governor between 1999 and 2007, Tellwell Newspaper gathered.
Dariye was recently released from prison, along with his Taraba State counterpart, Jolly Nyame, following a presidential pardon.
Senator Dariye, accompanied by his family and political associates, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Lalong at the Government House, Rayfield, Jos.
He did not give details of the projects and how he wants Lalong to complete them.
Dariye, however, appealed to the citizens of the state to unite for the growth and development of the state.
He expressed gratitude to God, the governor, government and the people of Plateau State for their prayers and support to him while he was in incarceration.
Receiving the former governor on behalf of Governor Lalong, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof Danladi Abok Atu, praised Dariye for passing through a phase in life which, he maintained, only the strong-hearted can endure.
Lalong prayed for God’s guidance and protection for Sen. Dariye and his family, assuring him of his administration’s commitment to building on the unity of purpose laid by his predecessors.
